Meltwater is looking for an upcoming superstar Senior FP&A Analyst who will be part of the global FP&A team and support both key stakeholders across the Meltwater organization. This individual will have the ability to develop their finance and business acumen through exposure to many interesting and important projects within the company, and will have the opportunity to develop relationships with senior leadership across many business units.

Reporting to the Senior Director FP&A and Corporate Development with dotted line to Marketing, this is an impactful opportunity within a fast-growing, publicly traded global company.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the FP&A team and business leaders to support strategic decision-making

  • Track performance against KPIs (ARR growth, headcount productivity, cost efficiency and unit profitability) and hold regular reviews on them with management

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting updates with analysis and discussion of financial and non-financial KPIs

  • Collaborate with the rest of the finance team, providing insights and the “story” behind the numbersSupport the budgeting and forecasting process and contribute to strategic initiatives

  • Work in an international environment with people virtually across time zones and geographies

  • Work with functions outside of finance (e.g. Sales, SalesOps, Marketing, Legal, HR) to identify inefficiencies and improve processes

  • Work on ad hoc finance project such as board presentations and strategic analyses to support and help grow the global business (i.e., pricing strategies, margin improvement, content analysis, business cases)

Additionally, the individual in this role will be the primary finance partner supporting the global marketing organization (Meltwater + acquisitions). Responsibilities with the marketing team include:

  • Maintain consistent reporting cadences across the global marketing organization and use data to communicate performance, areas for improvement, and shared successes or failures.

  • Develop and manage key revenue and marketing funnel metrics to drive revenue growth and enable forecasting

  • Measure the performance of and develop strategic insights from analysis of digital marketing campaigns, paid social, content, email, and our global websites.

  • Support and drive interpretation, adoption, and accuracy of operational marketing reports

  • Surface analytical insights: proactively identify opportunities for optimization and investigate root causes of aberrant data and

  • Build data models that can be used by marketing program owners to understand ROI

  • Take initiative to product new insights around topics such as customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, and MQL > SQO conversion
