John Box

CEO

John Ryan Box is a British citizen and the company's CEO. John has been with the Company since 2006, holding several management positions, including five years as Area Director and six years as Executive Director. In his position as Executive Director, John was responsible for the Company's offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. This has provided John with extensive international business experience. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and History from Canterbury Christ Church University and a Master Level Diploma in Organizational Leadership from Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Lena Shishkina

CFO

Lena Shishkina is the company's CFO, and joined the company in October 2021. Lena brings over 20 years global experience in enterprise software and B2B SaaS to Meltwater. Previously she held positions including CFO of UK & Ireland at Fortune 100 ranked software company SAP and VP of Finance for EMEA, Asia Pacific & Japan at Workday, the NASDAQ-listed SaaS company. Most recently she held the position of Chief Financial & Operations Officer at Red Points, a global leader in brand protection. Lena is a British citizen, and has lived and worked in six countries. She has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Durham University in the United Kingdom.

Aditya Jami

CTO

Aditya Jami is the company's CTO and has been with the company since 2016. Aditya is an experienced technology leader with demonstrated history in executing complex engineering systems, developing product strategy, creating high velocity engineering cultures, and driving M&A integrations at Meltwater and other international corporations such as Netflix and Yahoo. His industry and academic efforts have been translated into successful products and open source software and have been recognized with awards and press. Jami holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and served as a visiting scientist at Cornell University.

Aditya Jami

Alexandra Bjertnæs

CSO

Alexandra Bjertnæs is Meltwater’s Chief Strategy Officer and is responsible for Corporate Strategy, M&A, Branding, Marketing and Communications. Alexandra joined Meltwater in October 2021 and brings extensive management experience with 25+ years in key management roles. She was previously the Chief Communications and Strategy Officer at Posten Norge, a large Nordic Postal and Logistics group. Alexandra has a strong track record of leadership across Strategy, Communications, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service. She has an MBA degree from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science in Management and International Business (BSBA) from Georgetown University.

Kristie Rodenbush

CPO

Kristie Rodenbush is the company's Chief People Officer, and joined the company in December 2022. Kristie brings 23 years of global experience in HR and enterprise software to Meltwater. Most recently she held positions including CHRO of Algolia, an enterprise search SaaS company, and as head of People at Alphabet’s X, the moonshot factory. Kristie is a U.S. citizen, and has worked in many countries over the years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and has previously taught HR at the University of California, Berkeley Extension.

David Hickey

Executive Director, APAC

David leads Meltwater’s business across Asia-Pacific, helping nearly 5,000 businesses across Japan, Greater China, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand leverage the power of external data to drive better decision making in Corporate Affairs and Marketing. He studied at the University of Sydney and Said Business School at the University of Oxford. David has worked for Meltwater for the last 13 years in various leadership roles, with half that time based in Hong Kong and the rest in Australia.

David Houston

Executive Director, Client Acquisition Americas

David is the Executive Director of Meltwater’s Client Acquisition division in the Americas. He joined Meltwater 12 years ago and has since managed teams in cities across the US including Chicago, San Francisco and New York. He led Meltwater’s West Coast operations before moving into a Senior Director role overseeing training, strategy and Meltwater’s premium client portfolio in the Americas. David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and post-graduate study in Organizational Strategy from the London School of Economics.

Jeff Rusignuolo

Executive Director, Client Success Americas

Jeff leads Meltwater’s Client Success division in the Americas. He has 13 years of leadership experience at Meltwater, managing high-performance teams across the US and Canada and most recently led Meltwater’s social strategy and sales globally. Jeff is passionate about hiring, training and scaling teams with a focus on the customer experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Towson University and post-graduate certifications from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.

Bob Van Velsen

Executive Director, EMEA

Bob is the Executive Director of Meltwater’s business across EMEA. He joined Meltwater in 2014 and has held numerous positions across the region with a track-record of building high-growth teams, developing leaders and leading business operations across multiple markets. Bob holds a Bachelor of Economics and Master of Science in Marketing from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, as well as a post-graduate certification in Leadership from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Scott Gibbs

Senior Vice President of Global Enterprise

Scott Gibbs is Meltwater’s Senior Vice President of Global Enterprise and joined the company in 2022. Scott is a 27+ year technology veteran, who joined Meltwater from Tableau, a Salesforce company, where he was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas. He has extensive experience leading high growth, customer-facing teams and partnering with Fortune 500 customers to gain insights from data. Prior to Tableau, Scott served in leadership roles at Cisco, KPMG and Nortel. He is a graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Jørn Lyseggen

Founder, Executive Director & Board Chair

Jørn Lyseggen is a Norwegian serial-entrepreneur and the company's Executive Director and founder. Jørn began his career as a research scientist in artificial intelligence at the Norwegian Computing Center. Meltwater is Lyseggen’s fourth start up. Prior to Meltwater he had two exits and one listing under his belt. He is the author of the best-selling book “Outside Insight,” published in 2017 and has two patents to his name. Jørn holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Iowa State University.

David Faugno

Non-Executive Director

David Faugno is a Non-Executive member of the board, a position he has held since June 2019. David has 13 years of experience in management positions, having held the position as CFO at both Barracuda Networks and Qualtrics, respectively. David holds a BS in Accounting from Rutgers University and an MBA from Duke University.

Mattias Erik Holmström

Non-Executive Director

Mattias Holmström is a Partner at Altor and is a board member of Meltwater, QNTM, ARC, Raw Fury and Transcom. Mattias has extensive experience as a private equity investor and board member from over 10 years with Altor and working with Meltwater since Altor Fund III’s investment in 2012, as well as working as strategy consultant with Booz & Company for 2 years. Mattias Holmström holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, with specialization in Software Architecture and Design.

Erik Langaker

Non-Executive Director

Erik Langaker has an extensive background of developing and commercialising technology businesses, with 30 years’ international experience in private equity, listed companies and entrepreneurial ventures. He has been an active investor and chair and director in well over 25 companies. Erik Langaker also brings valuable Nordic public company experience. He has previously served as chair of Norwegian and European R&D engineering company Data Respons ASA (sold to AKKA Technologies SE) and currently serves as member of the boards of current Oslo listed companies Zalaris ASA and Elop AS.

Stefanie Witte

Non-Executive Director

Stefanie Witte is currently a Director for Chrome OS Consumer, running the business for Google's operating system in Northern Europe and the German speaking countries. Over the last nine years, Stefanie has held several other senior positions at Google including marketing for Android, Google's own hardware and their advertising products. Prior to Google she worked six years at Novartis in business development and strategic marketing and three years as management consultant at McKinsey. Stefanie holds a Lic.oec. HSG, Finance, Accounting and Controlling, from the University St. Gallen.

Sang Kim

Non-Executive Director

Mr Sang Kim is a partner at law firm DLA Piper and he concentrates his practice in international tax and operational structuring, global transfer pricing strategy, cross border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, post-acquisition integration and international tax controversy. He also frequently serves as the managing international counsel for multijurisdictional and multi-disciplinary transactions and engagements implicating tax, employment, IP, corporate, governance, regulatory, foreign exchange, supply chain, and import duties, among others. Mr Sang Kim has led several hundred global expansion and structuring matters for companies across a wide spectrum of industries from emerging enterprises to the largest multinationals. Mr Sang Kim holds a B.A. in philosophy and economics from Columbia University, a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and an LL.M. with a specialization in taxation from the New York University School of Law.
