Senior Marketing Analyst
As Meltwater’s Senior Marketing analyst, you will be responsible for all global marketing reporting, data visualizations, and insights. Tracking lead generation performance and marketing contributed revenue will be a focus as we derive key insights for business performance, trends, operational risk, and growth opportunities.
This role will be a part of the Global Marketing Operations team and will work closely with the central FP&A team to improve and expand our reporting frameworks. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a high energy environment and has a passion for data strategy and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Maintain consistent reporting cadences across the global marketing organization and use data to communicate performance, areas for improvement, and shared successes or failures
Distill large datasets into actionable insights for teams by building dashboards in reporting/analytic platforms for proactive and reactive needs
Develop and manage key revenue and marketing funnel metrics to drive revenue growth and enable forecasting
Measure the performance of and develop strategic insights from analysis of digital marketing campaigns, paid social, content, email, and our global websites
Support and drive interpretation, adoption, and accuracy of operational marketing reports
Surface analytical insights: proactively identify opportunities for optimization and investigate root causes of aberrant data
Build data models that can be used by marketing program owners to understand ROI
Lead cross-functional work streams to unify and improve data availability to and from new tools and sources
Effectively communicate marketing data insights in strategy meetings with stakeholders, and promote data-informed decision making
Collaborate with FP&A, Sales, CX, and` Product teams on performance analytics initiatives
Skills & Requirement
What You Have
5+ years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Analytics Manager or similar role; B2B experience is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of BI tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Tableau
Knowledge and interest in marketing tactics, including campaigns and marketing channels such as field marketing, SEM, Display, and Email
Experience with different marketing attribution methodologies
Able to proactively engage with business stakeholders
Self-motivated individual who is always looking for opportunities to optimize processes
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to tell a story with data to all levels of the organization
