FCT is an Oakville, Ontario-based company with more than 800 employees across Canada. They provide title insurance, default solutions, and other real estate-related services to hundreds of lenders and thousands of legal and recovery professionals under the slogan “Experience Excellence.” They use Meltwater for brand awareness and outreach and to monitor industry news and developments.
FCT’s Corporate Affairs team is responsible for employee communications, media relations, government affairs, corporate social responsibility, and more. Before upgrading to the new Meltwater Engage platform, the Corporate Affairs and Marketing teams struggled to monitor all their social media channels and successfully engage with their followers. Sharing news content internally was a chore. And tracking news stories featuring FCT and its competitors wasn’t possible without a laptop.

FCT uses Meltwater Engage to conveniently manage multiple accounts on all of the leading social media channels. The scheduling capability provides more control over the frequency of posts, and detailed reporting is generated directly from the platform.
Meltwater’s monitoring capabilities help FCT share news articles and social media comments with their employees. They review all the mentions daily and channel the most interesting items through their internal newsfeed. The mobile app is also much appreciated. It lets the team access Meltwater from anywhere without having to go on the internet.
