Anniversaries remind us of who we are and where we’ve been. Ever since our founding at Shack15 in Oslo, we’ve strived to make software that’s indispensable to PR and marketing pros. That was 15 years ago, and both media intelligence and the PR and marketing industries have changed considerably since then. 10 years ago we moved our headquarters to San Francisco and that’s the anniversary we are celebrating today, as it marks an accelerated period of innovation—for us and the industry as a whole.

Over the last 10 years, that’s meant automated brand mentions, market intelligence, and benchmarking capabilities; crawling social media sites as their relevance increases; maintaining a vast online influencer database, broadcasting press releases; and iterating on a mobile-first strategy. Throughout this period, we’ve been on a sustained path of media intelligence innovation.
