Meltwater Listed as One of South Africa’s Top Employers for 2010

Meltwater News, a subsidiary of Meltwater Group, has been announced as one of the top employers in South Africa for 2010/11 by the CRF Institute, and as one of the top ten Small Sized Employers in South Africa.

The companies in the 55-strong list underwent several months of rigorous research by Grant Thornton, who rated them all in a number of categories, including: organization strategy; the HR function; communication; diversity management; corporate social responsibility; knowledge management; talent management and engagement; performance management and rewards and recognition.

In Grant Thornton’s report, Meltwater’s people were highlighted as the company’s biggest advantage.  The employees were identified as sharing a desire to apply their entrepreneurial drive in an environment where they can quickly see tangible results, and therefore enhance their professional development.
